Oily Skin Care

Do you have oily skin? This is not a problem at all! Let’s find your perfect skin care 🫶🏼

Oily shine, enlarged pores, black spots, uneven relief, frequent inflammatory elements – these are the main disadvantages of oily skin…
But you will be surprised, there is also a plus for oily skin: wrinkles on the face of its owners appear much later 🤗

Oily skin is the result of increased work of the sebaceous glands that produce sebum (on the surface of the skin it gives a greasy shine). Excess sebum and dead cells clog the sebaceous ducts and black spots form. Most often, excessive fat content and impaired exfoliation process lead to acne

So our main goal is to reduce the production of sebum (normalise the secretion of the sebaceous glands) and narrow the pores 💯 Here are tips for home and spa care for this skin type ⬇️

1️⃣ Thorough cleaning in the morning and evening, preferably two-stage : cleansing balm/micellar water and gel/foam cleanser, better choose mild cleansers (washing “to the creak,” you destroy the hydrolipid barrier and bacteria easily penetrate the epidermis). Also avoid hot water, it enhances the release of skin fat and expands the pores

2️⃣ Toning
Tonics and lotions should contain anti-inflammatory (salicylic acid, retinol and zinc), exfoliating, diluting, astringent and components that reduce oiliness

3️⃣ Hydration and protection
In the morning, creams and serums with light textures and a minimum of nutrients, which include antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, seboregulating, mattifying components. Usually these agents contain zinc, hyaluronic and other acids, plant extracts. In the evening for oily skin use whey or light cream with antioxidants, vitamins, plant extracts to narrow pores and reduce inflammation, as well as anti-age components (if necessary).

4️⃣ Peels.
Oily skin is poorly self-cleaning, so 1-2 times a week you need to do peeling, to get rid of keratinized scales and reduce the production of sebum. Just don’t overdo it because you can damage the skin barrier. Choose peels which contain AHA acids.

5️⃣ Do not forget about UV protection. It will not make your skin even more oily, but will provide more protection!
